Psalm 78:4, 7-8
We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and his mighty wonders.
So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands. Then they will not be like their ancestors–stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God.
This scripture really grabbed me yesterday. I feel like I could almost hear the Lord whispering in my heart, “Tell them. Tell your children the miracles that you have seen. Tell them why you believe that I am real.”
Kids today, no, everyone is hungry for the supernatural. We’re all hungry for something REAL, for something to fill us, something to bring us contentment. Hearing that God loves us is one thing, but KNOWING that He loves us is another matter completely.
I want my children to set their hope anew on God. To not live on my walk with the Lord, but to see for themselves that He loves them and to witness His glorious miracles. To obey Him because they love Him & have seen His power.
So, with that in mind I am going to try & write about a few of the things that I have seen the Lord do in my life, & in the life of my parents. Stop back by for a couple of days & I will share a few of these miracles. Feel free to share some of your own stories. I would love to hear them.
