We are quickly approaching the fifth anniversary of 9/11 & I am wondering, as I am sure you are, what can be written or said that has not already been written or said. What could I possibly add to the mix that would be of merit?
I could wax eloquent & expound on the virtues of my favorite politician, or bitterly spew hatred against the villanous terrorists. I could even grow politically correct & refuse to say anything that might offend anyone, anywhere, anytime on this subject.
I have chosen to take the high road. I’m not going to focus on the evil. We all know that it was evil. I’m going to focus on one of the victims of 9/11.
I will honor him by remembering his life,
and not by remembering his murderers.
Joseph Roberto died September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center. He was from New Jersey & liked to ride motorcycles. In the next couple of days I am going to attempt to put a face on the tragedy of his death. I pray that I do him justice & that he gets the honor he deserves for dying a hero.
