Barry

Just a quick note of update.  Barry’s surgery went well & he is recuperating at home.  He’s on crutches & is already tired of doing nothing.  We’ve already watched the whole season of Heroes & Grey’s Anatomy that was just released on DVD. 

I am meeting with my pianist tomorrow to work out the final details of our music for the CD.  I’m about to get all of the copyright legal mumbo jumbo taken care of & am working on a concept for the cover.  AND THE BIG NEWS……WE HAVE A DATE!!!!!!!  We will be in studio on the 31st of October & the 1st & 2nd of November.  Please help us pray for God’s anointing & guidance.  We just want to lift His name High!

Stuff

Last week I went to Las Cruces, NM to sing at a Ladies Retreat.   We used the music that we’ve been working on for the CD.  I’m pretty excited about the way things worked out.  The music sang well, people seemed to respond to it & I felt like God met with us.  What else could I want?  (Maybe a little bit more air conditioning in the room where I sang….he he  I melted in Las Cruces.)  I am so thankful for the way things are working out & am in shock over this amazing roller coaster ride that the Lord is taking me on. 

My husband, Barry is having hip replacement surgery on Monday.  Please keep him in your prayers.  He’s pretty young (43) but his whole family has bone trouble.  His mom has had EVERYTHING replaced…… 

Anyway, because of his surgery we are putting off recording the CD until the last of October/first of November.  He should be able to travel by then. Please keep us in your prayers.  We’ve got alot going on, & we want to walk through whatever door the Lord opens. 

An Update

 I just wanted to write a few lines & let everyone know that I am still kicking! Things have been pretty crazy here, so I took a little break from blogging.  Things seem to be slowing down, so updates should be more regular.

I’ll give you a short list of a few of the things that have been going on in my life for the last several months:

• Barry & I have taken on a partner in our business. 
• My brother-in-law & sister-in-law have moved into our town to be our partners.
• They lived with us for a while (it was a whole lot easier than I thought it would be.)  They were great!
• My husband (who is 43 needs hip replacement)
• Teenagers!!!!!  Need I say more?
• My dad’s health is failing…..we are at a loss as to how to help.
• I have had a health scare…..as a result I’m on medication & a diet!!!!!
• God has opened the door for me to record a  CD.      

Did you catch the last thing on the list?  Isn’t it exciting?  I’m pretty much freaked out by the whole thing, but I’m seeing God’s hand in the details & would love your prayers.
